Lewes Library of Things is now open.

You can browse the inventory without joining, but if you want to borrow anything, this is how it works

1. JOIN

• Create your account here.
• Confirm your email address
• Log in here to reserve Things

2. RESERVE

• Browse the list of Things and choose what you want to borrow
• Select the time & date that works for you. You can reserve all items for up to 7 days and items under ‘Camping’ for up to 14 days but please only reserve a Thing for the period you need it for

3. BORROW

• Visit the Library of Things at any time during opening hours on your reservation date
• If it's your first visit, you'll have to provide proof of identity and of your address. See here for what you will need.

4. Then...

• Take the Thing to your home, project or adventure
• Bring the Thing back with all its parts on the day it's due back – clean and ready for the next borrower
• Notice any damages? These things happen. If you can fix it easily and safely, then please do. If not, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing leweslot@gmail.com

6. DONATE

• Although all Things are FREE to borrow we rely on donations to cover our costs so you would like to donate to help out Lewes Library of Things please donate by cash or card at the Community Room or here
